Getting started with NDIS

How do I know if I’m eligible for support?

To determine your eligibility for NDIS support, you must meet specific criteria set by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). These include:

  1. Age Requirement: You must be under 65 years old when you apply.
  2. Residency: You must be an Australian Citizen, permanent citizen, or hold a Protected Special Category Visa.
  3. Disability Criteria: You must have a permanent and significant disability that impacts your ability to perform everyday activities, or you need early intervention to reduce the impact of your condition.

Not sure if you meet the criteria? Contact us for guidance-we’re here to help.

Can LikeKIN help me develop or manage my NDIS plan?

LikeKIN cannot directly develop or manage your NDIS plan. However, we can guide you in understanding your plan, maximising your funding, and choosing the right supports to achieve your goals.

While we don’t handle the formal management of plans, we’re happy to connect you with qualified plan managers or support coordinators who will be able to assist you.

Your confidence and comfort in navigating your NDIS journey is our priority.

For Participants and Families

Can I choose my own support workers?

Absolutely! At LikeKIN, we believe you should have full choice and control over your care. We’ll work with you to match you with support workers who align with your preferences, personality, and goals.

Need a change? No problem – we’ll help you find the right fit to ensure your experience is always positive, comfortable, and empowering.
